MNEMOS

Sovereign AI Memory Protocol

Every AI claims your data is yours. Only MNEMOS can prove it. Threshold-encrypted memory anchored on Base. Decryption requires your signature. No company override. No policy exceptions. Mathematics, not promises.

// manifesto

Two years of AI products and the interaction model hasn't changed. Ask. Answer. Forget. Repeat. The models improved exponentially. The relationship stayed at zero.

Meanwhile every company building AI quietly became the custodian of your most intimate data — your goals, your relationships, your health, your decisions. They promised to protect it. They stored it on their servers. They wrote privacy policies. They asked for trust.

“Trust is not a technical property of a system. It is a business decision that can be reversed.”

MNEMOS does not ask for trust. We built a system where trust is architecturally irrelevant. Your memory is encrypted by Lit Protocol — a network of threshold cryptography nodes where no single entity holds your key. It lives on Ceramic, a decentralised database you can read with any compatible tool. The access condition is on Base. It says your wallet address. Nothing else.

This is not L5. L5 is the best version of the centralised paradigm — sophisticated governance, rich memory, deep alignment. It is genuinely impressive. But L5 still rests on a foundation of institutional trust. L6 removes that foundation entirely. Your memory is yours the same way your ETH is yours. Provably. Permanently. Mathematically.

// LEVEL 5
Symbiotic AI
THE CURRENT CEILING
Trust-based privacy
Private because the company promises. One acquisition, one legal order, one policy update — reversed.
Local-first, company-owned protocol
Memory lives on your device. The schema and protocol belong to them. They can break the format.
Portability as export
JSON export. Where do you take it? Locked to whoever builds the next compatible reader.
Governance by policy
Audit trail is a local log file. Unverifiable externally. Company could dispute or revise.
No economic position
You pay for access. Build nothing that compounds. Switching means starting from zero.
// LEVEL 6
Sovereign AI
MNEMOS
Cryptographic privacy
Access condition on Base: wallet === 0x[yours]. Decryption requires your signature. We have no override key.
Protocol-owned memory
Lives on Ceramic with published open schemas. Any application can read it. You own the stream forever.
Portability as wallet
Connect your Base wallet to any MNEMOS-compatible app. Memory follows your keys, not our platform.
Governance by contract
Every governed action produces an on-chain receipt. Tamper-evident. Verifiable by anyone. Permanently recorded.
Economic ownership
$MNM token on Base. Memory staking. Protocol governance. Build an appreciating position in your own AI.
// protocol stack

Infrastructure that
cannot lie.

Four layers. Each independently verifiable. Each replaceable. None of them rely on trusting us. The decentralisation is not a feature — it is the architecture.

Classification, enrichment, weighting, retrieval. The intelligence layer. This is what you own. This is what compounds. What you build here outlives any company, including this one.

AXIOM_01
Cryptographic Sovereignty

Ownership is not a policy. It is a mathematical property. The access condition is on-chain. No human decision can override it. Not a court order. Not an acquisition. Not us.

ACC → {walletAddress: 0x...}
AXIOM_02
Protocol Permanence

Your memory exists independently of this company. If MNEMOS shuts down, your stream persists on Ceramic. The protocol outlives the product. Memory ≠ subscription.

memory.exists() ≠ mnemos.exists()
AXIOM_03
Provable Governance

Every action the AI takes on your behalf produces an on-chain receipt. Not a log file. A permanent, tamper-evident record that cannot be revised by anyone, including you.

∀ action → receipt ∈ Base

Bidirectional Value

You hold $MNM. You stake. You govern. The value of the protocol compounds as your memory compounds. You are not the product. You are the owner.

// why trust was never enough

The gap
was always trust.

Every AI product asks you to trust a company with your most intimate data. Your goals. Your relationships. Your health. Your decisions. That data is the most valuable thing about you.

Promises are broken by acquisition, legal orders, and policy updates. Every L5 product writes the best privacy policy it can. It is still a policy. You cannot audit a policy.

MNEMOS built the architecture where the question of trust doesn't arise. The access control condition for your memory is a smart contract on Base. It says your wallet address. Nothing else.

Read it. Your developer can read it. An auditor can read it. It does not change. It cannot be overridden. This is not a feature we offer. This is a property of the system.

What L5 products say

“We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Ever.” A promise inside a privacy policy. Enforceable only by trust. Reversible by a terms update, an acquisition, or a legal order.

What MNEMOS proves

On-chain access control condition: walletAddress === 0x[yours]. Requires your cryptographic signature to decrypt. Readable by anyone. Overrideable by no one.

The fundamental difference

One is a legal document. The other is a mathematical invariant. You cannot subpoena a threshold cryptography network. You cannot acquire an open protocol. You cannot break a proof.

If MNEMOS shuts down tomorrow

Your memory stream persists on Ceramic. Encryption keys remain in Lit Protocol. Identity lives on Base. MNEMOS the company becomes irrelevant. Your AI continues exactly where it was.

// product suite

Six products.
One sovereign memory.

Every product runs on the same L6 memory layer. The cryptography is invisible. The sovereignty guarantee is not. You use the product. The protocol does the rest.

MODULE_01FLAGSHIP
The Second Brain
// persistent intelligence layer

Not a chatbot. A cognitive layer across your entire life. Stops being reactive and starts being anticipatory. Knows your context. Surfaces insight before you know you need it.

proactive nudges from your own patterns
cross-app context — zero re-explaining
goal drift detection in real time
pre-emptive answers before you ask
MODULE_02FIRST TO SHIP
Relationship Memory
// people graph with full context

A rich graph of everyone in your life. What they care about, what you promised, what they mentioned last October. A briefing before every meeting. Never the person who forgot.

pre-meeting briefs, automatically generated
follow-up tracking with full context
milestone and commitment memory
communication cadence per person
MODULE_03
Goal Navigator
// calendar vs stated priorities

Goals fail quietly. They get deprioritised every Thursday until they're gone. Goal Navigator shows the gap between what you say matters and how you actually spend time.

weekly alignment score
contextual course-correction nudges
MODULE_04
Decision History
// decision log with outcome tracking

Logs every significant decision and its outcome. After a year it knows where you're consistently right, where emotion overrides reason, where you've made this exact mistake before.

decision logging with outcome tracking

similar-decision precedent recall
confidence calibration reporting
MODULE_05
Health Intelligence
// longitudinal pattern detection

Finds the correlations in your body data that no doctor has time to look for. The Wednesday headaches that correlate with Monday stress. The sleep dip that precedes illness by 48 hours.

multi-source health data fusion
early warning pattern alerts

Memory Storage
Users spend micro-amounts of $MNM to write and retrieve memories at scale. Handled invisibly by the application layer. Most users never see a token balance.
USERS SPEND
API Access
Developers stake $MNM to access the Memory API. As the protocol grows, API demand grows. Stakers earn yield from the network they help build.

Protocol Governance
$MNM holders vote on upgrades, schema changes, and treasury allocation. Phase 5 transfers full control to the DAO. Company becomes optional.

More users → more memory → more $MNM demand → more node operators → better performance → more users. Early participants build an appreciating position in what they create.
